Cogito Ergo Tum
(I think, therefore you are)
It’s easily the most unnecessary website in the world. Even
more pointless than the print version.
But like this isn’t your friendly neighbourhood quiz time though.
You know . . . Why is the sky green? Who wrote Shakespeare’s
plays? Which is the heaviest or hottest or hardassed metal in the
world? Who cares?
It’s not neutron star stuff either. Meaning, don’t expect
original earth-shattering problems in quantum chromodynamics or transactional
grammar to which people then supply neat, easy-to-understand solutions
guaranteed to leave you gasping with clarity.
The scam in this irresponsible but impeccably ungrammatical column
is totally different.
What puzzles and problems are here are here courtesy so many years
of serious swiping from so many sources that if I had to acknowledge
even ten percent of them, they’d end up filling ninety percent
of the rest of this space. Besides landing me in the slammer of course.

And talking of answers, I’m not to be blamed for those either
because they’ve all been supplied by readers whose names I gleefully
provide in letters of cold welded vanadium so you know whose joints
to desocket instead of mine.
So what in sweet hell is MY contribution?
God only knows, except that because I write so well, without me this
site wouldn’t be worth the screen it’s scrolled on.
See what I mean? |
